She has taught communication for over thirty years in academic settings including University of Utah, and Utah Valley State College and is currently fulltime faculty in the Communication Department at Salt Lake Community College. She also teaches in corporate settings and has presented nationwide. Pedagogically she helped pioneer computer-interactive training programs for AT&T, and continues to refine teaching practices for the corporate and college classroom.
Some of her recent research focuses on trust in global organizations, and psychologically healthy workplaces. Her international living experiences in Africa, Europe and Asia give her practical insight into the challenges of communicating in diversity rich environments.
