If I could choose any career in the world, I think it would be teaching college students. There is not a better feeling that to see the light of understanding in the eyes of a student and to know that student has gained a particular insight that will aid in living a more fulfilling and productive life.
Teaching at an LDS school is a special experience because of the opportunity to include gospel principles along with the academic experience.
I have never taught in the public school system. However, I have taught nearly every age group in the LDS church auxiliaries, my favorites being gospel doctrine and relief society.
I am married to Glenn H. Peterson who is a retired educator. We have one son, Steven. In addition, we have a wonderful daughter-in-law and four incredible grandchildren.
